We are hugely excited to have been shortlisted for the National Fitness awards 2022 in the categories Strength Training Gym of the year and the Community Involvement award.
We have demonstrated that we are the Strength Training gym of the year by holding numerous strength events and having competitive athletes such a 2 members who have turned IFBB Pro this year and having a member compete in UK’s Strongest man as well as holding various Strength challenges and Strongman competitions at the gym.
We feel we have done a lot to demonstrate our community involvement to name only a few events we have volunteered for the MK marathon this year to warm up the runners on the main stage at the starting point and then heading to man a drinks station, we also manned a drinks station for a 911 charity Firefighters run, we put on a free children’s event along with UK’s Strongest man organisers at Central Milton Keynes, we continue to run sessions with local schools to enhance the Physical Education that is offered to them as well as other sports groups including MK Dons.
The competition for these categories is huge in the leisure industry and we know there are some great contenders for these awards but we are confident that we have demonstrated more than the criteria has asked for.
On November the 18th we will head to the Awards ceremony in Leicester in the hope of walking away with some more silverware for the gym.
